Merrimack River

This goes back a ways, but my first real project with environmental focus was when I lived on Plum Island in Newburyport Mass. The barrier island is created by the mouth of the Merrimack River. For the 10 years I lived there, I witnessed and tried to help as efforts were made to save the striped bass (sucessful!), reintroduce Atlantic Salmon (unsuccessful), and introduce Coho Salmon (unsuccessful) were introduced.
