Large Napa River Steelhead 28 inches x 12 inches x 5 inches (Blue/Splatter Finish)

Bring the spirit of the Napa River into your space with this beautiful 13" Steelhead Trout sculpture. This piece captures the grace and power of one of the river's most iconic species.

This fish sculpture is intended for tabletop or other semi-indoor space installation, and comes with a metal base that is 8"x8" at the base, and about 18" high

These sculptures are hand-cut and hand welded from cold-rolled steel.  They are kinetic, and "swim" with the slightest breeze.  They are intended to capture the mesmerizing display of motion and light that mimics the fluid movement of a steelhead navigating the currents of the Napa River.

Special care is taken on the finish for the sculptures.  This fish has been allowed to weather/rust slightly, then ground down to bare metal in most of the surface to give it a shimmering scale pattern.  There are a few painted areas and more rusted areas around the fins for added highlight.
